Not all Australian farms can be certified organic, and that doesn’t mean the food they produce is lower quality.

Farming conditions vary widely across Australia. Climate, rainfall, soil type, location, and surrounding land use all affect how a farm operates. In some regions, particularly high rainfall or subtropical areas, organic certification isnt possible. 

Many farmers farm to very high standards but choose not to pursue certification because it doesn’t suit their location, scale, or farming system.

At Our Cow, we source from Australian farmers who farm as close to organic as possible. Animal welfare comes first. Our farmers raise livestock outdoors on pasture, with no antibiotics or hormones, and with strong care for their land and animals.

Organic farming has its place, but it is not the only measure of quality. We are proud of every farmer we work with and confident in the food we supply to our customers.

You can build your box based on what you need. There is no requirement to fill the box with a specific number of items or categories.
