Grass Fed Lamb Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 4 x Our Cow Lamb Burger Patties
  • Olive oil 
  • 4 burger buns 
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • Cos lettuce 
  • 1 tomato, sliced 
  • ½ a red onion, thinly sliced 
  • 4 tbsp tomato relish
  • 4 tbsp herbed mayo 
  • Salt and pepper


Cooking instructions:

  1. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil and add Our Cow Lamb Burgers. 
  2. Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. In the final minute of cooking, top each burger with a slice of Swiss cheese and allow it to melt.
  3. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns.
  4. Spread the herbed mayo on the base of each bun. Top with cos lettuce, mashed avocado, tomato slices, and red onion.
  5. Place the cheesy lamb burger on top, then spoon the tomato relish over it, and season with salt and pepper. Finish with the top of the bun and serve immediately.
