Chicken & Cheese Sausage Rolls

  • 500g Our Cow Organic Chicken Thighs
  • 250g Cheese (Tasty or Mozz)
  • Handful Baby Spinach
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Puff Pastry Sheets
  • 2 eggs


Step 1
Remove puff pastry sheets from the freezer and let them sit on the bench to defrost a little.

Step 2
Mince the chicken thighs and add salt and pepper to taste (if you prefer to use Our Cow beef or pork mince that works too!).

Step 3
Add in the cheese and spinach and mix together.

Step 4
Beat up 2 eggs in a bowl.

Step 5
Lay the mix in along the puff pastry, the more mince mixture the bigger the rolls!

Step 6
Brush next to the mixture with beaten egg mix, this will help hold the roll together.

Step 7
Roll pastry over the mixture and trim until you have a nice sausage roll.

Step 8
Brush the top with egg mix and add sesame seeds or cheese on top!

Step 9
Cut into smaller rolls and cook in oven at 180ºC for 20-30mins or until cooked through.
