Think pizza’s off the menu when you’re eating meat-only? Think again.

This Carnivore Pizza hits every craving, cheesy, rich, and full of flavour, without a single grain in sight. Perfect for anyone giving the carnivore diet a go or just wanting a high-protein, low-carb dinner that actually feels indulgent.

Ingredients

Base:

  • 500g Our Cow Free Range Chicken Mince
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: a sprinkle of herbs like oregano or garlic powder for flavour

Toppings:

  • 150g thinly sliced Our Cow Grass Fed Beef Sizzle Steak or Our Cow Grass Fed Beef Stir Fry Strips
  • A few slices of Our Cow Free Range Pepper Salami
  • Extra cooked Our Cow Free Range Chicken or Bacon pieces (optional)
  • 1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or tasty cheese)

Creamy White Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup thickened cream
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (fan-forced). Line a pizza tray or baking sheet with baking paper.
  2. Make the base: In a bowl, mix chicken mince, egg, and seasoning until well combined. Press the mixture evenly onto your tray in a pizza shape, about 1cm thick.
  3. Par-cook the base: Bake for 8-10 minutes until it firms up and just starts to brown on top. Remove from oven and carefully drain any excess juices.
  4. Make the sauce: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the cream and stir until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat, add the cheese, and stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add your toppings: Spread the creamy white sauce over the chicken base. Top with steak, salami, pepperoni, and more cheese.
  6. Bake it up: Return to the oven and cook for another 10-12 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
  7. Serve: Slice it up, add a dollop of sour cream or melted butter if you like, and dig in.

Tips

  • Swap chicken mince for pork or beef mince if you prefer.
  • Air-fry the base first for a crispier crust.
  • Leftovers keep well in the fridge and are great cold (if they last that long).
