Beef & Bacon Burgers with Fresh Crunch Slaw

Ingredients

  • 4 Our Cow Grass Fed Beef & Bacon Burger Patties
  • Brioche or milk buns
  • Cheese slices (optional)

Crunch Slaw

  • 2 cups finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • Handful of parsley, chopped
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

To Serve

  • Pickles
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Whole-egg mayonnaise or burger sauce

Method

  1. Prepare the slaw: Toss cabbage, carrot and parsley with lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Keep light and crisp.
  2. Heat the BBQ or pan: Cook on medium-high heat. No oil needed, the bacon does the work.
  3. Cook the burgers: Grill burgers for 3-4 minutes per side, flipping once. Add cheese in the final minute if using.
  4. Toast the buns: Lightly toast buns cut-side down in the pan or on the BBQ.
  5. Assemble: Layer burger, slaw and condiments. Serve immediately.

Tip: These patties don’t need much, let the meat do the talking.
