Bacon and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:
- Our Cow Free Range Wood Smoked Bacon
- 6 eggs
- 1 ¼ cup milk
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1tsp onion powder
- 7 cups of bread, cut into cubes
- 2 cups of cheese
- Hot honey, to serve
- Fresh parsley, to garnish
Cooking instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook the Our Cow Free Range Wood Smoked Bacon in a pan over medium heat until lightly browned and cooked through, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the bread, cooked bacon, and most of the cheese (reserve a small handful for the top) into the egg mixture. Gently mix until the bread is well coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the centre and golden on top.
- Allow it to sit for a few minutes before serving, then finish with fresh parsley and a drizzle of hot honey.
