Mick & Emma from Parraweena Highlands Cattle Co manage a total of over 15,000 acres across three properties in rural NSW.
They're true experts in the breeding and raising of best-in-class Pure Bred Angus and Angus Hereford cross cattle, boasting over 1,000 cattle across the properties and involved in their specialist breeding program.
What started as the original family-run operation in Willow Tree, has since grown to include two more farms - "Marengo" and "Parraweena" - located in Clarence Valley NSW, one of which also includes a cropping operation. The farms are owned by three good friends and managed by Mick & Emma and their team.
Mick & Emma have designed the breeding operation to elite selection criteria, which ensures their cattle are sustainable, feed efficient, have a high fertility rate and low stress at all times.
They're particularly passionate about educating Aussies on what goes into raising animals, their environmental practices, telling the story of where their beef comes from, and how it's produced.
We love working with the Pareaweena and Marengo team as they're big advocates for sustainable farming practices, ensuring minimal soil disturbance and rotational grazing, low stress stock handling with constant access to fresh feed, and all their animals are 100% grass-fed, 100% HGP free, and bred for tenderness and flavour.
