Yubute’s contribution to our Car-Beque project in support of Rural Aid has been crucial in delivering such a successful first event using our amazing custom-built BBQ.
When we first dreamt up the idea of creating a completely custom, eye-catching but functional ‘Our Cow’ promotional BBQ vehicle, we had no idea if it was even possible. A few basic sketches, a FJ45 Landcruiser, and lots of enthusiasm was all we had to create our ‘dream’ Our Cow barbecue from!
We’d committed to Rural Aid as their fundraising partner in 2024, starting with cooking up a storm for the crowds celebrating The Great Aussie BBQ under the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Australia Day. And, we’d committed to cooking on our very own custom-built Our Cow “Car-Beque”, which we’d bring down to Sydney in time for the event.
But, as always, there were a few ‘snags’. Time was not on our side, and we had lots of boxes to tick if we were going to pull off a custom barbecue build in a FJ45 Landcruiser in time for January 26th.
Jason from Yubute Fabrication came to our rescue, and we couldn’t be more grateful or proud of what he and the team achieved, and in such a short amount of time. Joining us as a sponsor, the Yubute team donated the entire design and build of our custom Our Cow BBQ, in support of Rural Aid’s mission to help farmers and rural communities who need it most.
Renowned for their expertise in custom metal fabrication, Yubute played an instrumental role in the creation of our beloved “Car-Beque”. Jason and his team masterfully constructed the plate for the BBQ to sit on, and integrated a bespoke charcoal grill, perfect for cooking all our snags and steaks.
But, one of our absolute favourite parts of our “Car-Beque'' is the custom Our Cow-branded cutout on the BBQ plate, which Jason created just for us. Their craftsmanship, creativity and attention to detail absolutely blew us away, and we couldn’t be happier with how our barbecue creation turned out!
